Movement may help after mental effort; quiet after lots of conversation; warm company after working alone. Endless scrolling keeps attention stimulated while your body stays still. Start by noticing what kind of tiredness you are carrying.

Make a break specific

Choose something with a beginning and an end: a short walk, a shower, food without a screen, a conversation or quiet time. Afterwards, notice whether a little energy or clarity has returned.

Rest is not the answer to everything

Persistent fatigue can have causes beyond stress. If it lasts weeks or comes with sleep problems, appetite changes, pain or reduced activity, talk to a healthcare professional.

One thing to try today

  1. Name the tiredness: physical, mental, emotional or social
  2. Silence notifications for one short break
  3. Alternate seated study with gentle movement
  4. Plan recovery before you feel completely depleted
